About ScottieT
I had travelled for many years with a camera which installed a passion for capturing the moment and telling a story.
I then had eight years in London working and studying in Knowledge Management and in 2004 took on an additional role as an agency live music photographer. I was so lucky to have photographed some of the biggest bands in the world but more importantly build up my photographic skills under the most difficult of circumstances.
Like most Kiwi's I have a passion for everything sport and looked for opportunities to shoot sporting events whenever possible.
I made a point to keep my kiwi connection active working with NZ artists/athletes/teams when they toured around the UK.
By the time I left the UK, I had the pleasure of photographing some of the largest sporting/music events in the world.
Rugby World Cups, Glastonbury, Champions League Final, Wimbledon and Formula One are all part of my experience/portfolio.
It's a beautiful thing when a passion and a career come together.
In 2011 I returned to NZ to cover the Rugby World Cup and to setup Scottie T Photography full time.
I recognised that the demand from my services was primarily coming from social media so I studied brand development and social media trends closely. I'm a firm believer in the concept of telling your story, building your community and making them feel that they are part of your journey.
I specialise on creating content for anything swim, bike or run but have clients in areas too.
I mainly create photos and videos built for social media, underwater, on land and in the air.
During the New Zealand winter I spend time in the warm waters of the Pacific Islands on various assignments.
I love where his camera has taken me and where it will take me next.
If you'd like me to help tell your story...
